Cancellation & Refund Policy

How cancellations, changes and refunds work for flights and other travel booked through SZ Holidays.

Last updated: 26 June 2026

Overview

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, changes and refunds work for bookings made through SZ Holidays. Because we book travel provided by airlines and other suppliers, their rules apply alongside ours.

Airline fare rules apply

Every fare carries its own rules set by the airline, which determine whether a ticket can be changed or refunded and what penalties apply. Some fares are fully non-refundable and non-changeable. We will explain the relevant rules before you book.

How to cancel or change

To request a cancellation or change, contact us as early as possible by phone at 1-877-650-1217 or email info@szholidays.com with your booking reference. Requests are processed during the airline's permitted window; the earlier you contact us, the more options you usually have.

24-hour consideration

Where required by applicable regulation (for example, certain bookings made well in advance of departure), you may be entitled to cancel within 24 hours of booking for a refund of the airfare. Eligibility depends on the fare, route and regulations that apply to your booking; we will confirm whether your booking qualifies.

Cancellation & change fees

Cancellations and changes may involve: (1) the airline's penalty or fare difference, and (2) an SZ Holidays service fee. Both are disclosed before any change is processed. Our service fees are generally non-refundable once a booking has been made.

Refund processing & timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once the airline releases the refund to us, we process it promptly; however, the total time depends on the airline and your bank or card issuer and can take several weeks. We will keep you updated on the status of your refund request.

Non-refundable items

Certain charges are typically non-refundable, including service fees, and some taxes, insurance or ancillary products depending on supplier rules. Where a fare is non-refundable, the airfare itself may not be returned even if travel does not take place.

No-shows & partly used tickets

If you do not board a booked flight (a “no-show”), the airline may cancel remaining segments and the ticket may lose value. Refunds for unused or partly used tickets are subject to the airline's rules and may not be available.

Airline cancellations & disruptions

If an airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, your rights to a refund or re-routing are governed by that airline's policy and applicable passenger-rights regulations. We will help you communicate with the airline to pursue the remedy you are entitled to.
